Schwab Launches Ad Campaign To Promote Advisor Independence Hot

As yet, RIAStandsForYou.org is empty, but Schwab reportedly wants to fill it with advisor-friendly content. 

It sounds good enough in theory. 

But if the site relies too heavily on real advisors as the "face" of the entire RIA channel, I suspect it'll be great for those advisors -- especially those set up to do business nationwide.

For the rest of the Schwab advisors out there, it sounds a lot like linking to a potential competitor.

As such, it remains to be seen whether this will be a good thing or not.
