Pastor, an advisor affiliated with LPL Financial, was ranked as the #1 Managing Director in the nation measured by year over year sales growth by Prudential in 2012, according to his bio, and he was ranked as the top-selling Senior Investment Manager in the nation during his tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co. At Chase, he and his team managed $2.6 billion in client assets and he was ranked the top-selling Senior Investment Manager in the nation.

 

The Coyotes have been run by the NHL the past three seasons, since the team went into bankruptcy in 2009 under former owner Jerry Moyes, says a press release issued by Pastor. The Coyotes have remained competitive on the ice, reaching the Stanley Cup Playoffs each of the past three seasons and advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history in 2012.

 

Earlier this week, ESPN reported that Canadian financier George Gosbee had put together a group to purchase the Coyotes from the NHL for $170 million.

 

Headquartered in in Irvine, California, Capstone has an office in Phoenix as well as 11 other cities and "maintains a principle of supporting communities that serve its clients," says the press release.
