FINRA Opens Up Disciplinary Database To The Public Hot
Write Review
Once again, the database makes it easier for reps with nothing to hide to differentiate themselves by strategically educating prospects and the general public to use it.
The more investors get into the habit of doing their own due diligence, the more likely they will be to discover elements of a potential advisor's background that trouble them or otherwise push them toward cleaner operators.
Brokercheck is already linked to the system
As always, every FINRA member should check the database -- you can search by name -- to make sure there are no errors that could be embarrassing in future prospect conversations.
