Cams is a program which is difficult to learn however it provides unconstrained access to your data.
We like CAMS because we are 15 year users, but we are concerned about its long term potential. Morningstar could easily dump its backing of the program.

The Good
An inexpensive alternative to other PMS's.
The Bad
Slow to adjust to industry changes. Written in an old programming language which will be phased out by Microsoft.
The Bottom Line
Good bang for the buck, but certainly not the premier Portfolio Management System.
