Overall, Outlook continues to improve and offers a cost-efficient low-end CRM solution.
User Review
The Good
Over the years, Outlook has steadily improved as a CRM. Its tight integration with the rest of Microsoft Office makes it an increasingly usable and cost-effective email client, calendaring, task and contact management system (especially when purchased as part of a MS Office bundle). Many third-party applications now offer various synchronization options with Outlook. The online support web site is very robust.
The Bad
Outlook is not designed to handle asset tracking in any significant form.
The Bottom Line
The more that I deal with other, notably more costly CRMs, the more I've come to appreciate Outlook's various capabilities and increasingly intuitive user interface.
