The Good
Highly scalable and modifiable. If you have the money or the expertise you can make ACT! do just about anything you need from a contact management software
The Bad
Fairly complicated and cumbersome for newbies. Online version is not nearly as easily manipulated as the software install. If that doesn't change fairly rapidly ACT! will become obsolete.
The Bottom Line
If you are looking for a contact management program that can be extensively manipulated and added to through the use of 3rd party add on's and you are not in need of a web based platform ACT! is hard to beat. It is not an easy program to use, however. To take full advantage of its power you will need to spend a good deal of time learning.
