Thanks, Bob, for a great presentation. Some of these proposed changes are certainly a little shocking to those of us who have been around a while, and have never dreamed of not having the step-up in basis at death. I agree with Bob that anyone in CA or NY who is being taxed at 65% or more of their earned income is very likely to work less, which is an odd concept but I think a valid point. One of the questioners referred to the 70's when higher rates were around. The world is different now. I agree w/ Bob.
