I switched to MoneyGuide Pro about a year and a half ago and find it the most user friendly planning program for both the advisor and client.
User Review
The Good
Easy to use and it is collaborative so you and the client don't have to be together to review, or make changes to the plan. I particularly like the Goal Setting module and the ability to set "Ideal" amounts and "Acceptable" amounts. Interfaces with my CRM.
The Bad
Not thrilled with the asset allocation module, although it's not terrible.
The Bottom Line
Best I've seen for client interaction. The goal wizard helps to get them to come up with specific goals. Presentation and "playground" are great for what-if scenarios.
