The reports that you build a bit more attractive, but you have to be a bit of a programmer to figure out how to build them - at least that is what it seems like to me; I'm a financial planner - not a designer, so it was a bit frustrating.

You can't import transactions from manual entry - for accounts held away or that don't integrate with portfolio center you have to manually enter every transaction
The Bottom Line
Go with the hosted version - it's hard to have a discussion with someone in technical support when they can't see what you are looking at - hosted eliminates that problem.
