Great free software for advisors using Dimensional Funds to build benchmark portfolios
If you are using or considering using Dimensional Funds in your portfolios, then I would highly recommend becoming familiar with Returns.

The Good
Great tool for building benchmark portfolios as the software has lots of indices that DFA updates monthly. Also, can build your own indices (such as gold) which are not included.
The Bad
Reports are not very client friendly and the output is very "CFA oriented"
The Bottom Line
Great for "behind the scenes" portfolio management and analysis.
