Outlook 2007 Business contact manager (BCM) is a fully functional CRM tool that is well suited for a solo operation. It does a good job of managing the prospect-to-client funnel and tracking tasks.

The Good
Outlook BCM takes outlook form a contact management system to a basic CRM system. No need to sync with Outlook - it IS outlook.
The Bad
no ability to define workflows, but add-ons are available.
The Bottom Line
Outlook BCM is now available as a stand-alone product. You don't need to buy the expensive small business suite.
