Not a fit for us.
RESPONSE FROM VENDOR:
There is no software that is right for every company. The one correct statement in this review is that TRX was "not a fit" for Mr. Shore's company. We regret that approximately 1-1/2 years ago, we attempted to take on a client that was not appropriate for TRX. When we both realized that it was not a fit, we gave Mr. Shore a full refund. Over 100 happy TRX users have given us exceptional ratings, committed to long-term contracts and referred their colleagues to TRX.
User Review
The Good
They have the right idea of what is important - working with models, timely rebalancing, focus on transaction costs and taxes.
The Bad
For us, the way they construct models wasn't as helpful as it could have been. We found ourselves having to change how we wanted to do things to accomodate the software rather than the other way around. Visually, we found the software hard to work with. We couldn't produce nice visuals ready for client use. This may have all changed by now.
The Bottom Line
The software seemed like a good value but we were happier elsewhere paying a bit more. TRX was very responsive when we wanted to leave and did give us a full refund.
