I have long thought that RIA's should have mental health professionals to refer to. You validated that today. BTW, I would say that a good chunk of my business came to me from Psychologists. By redefining the goals of financial gain/loss into the realm of fears, you really crystalized what we're doing.

Today's session was especially valuable by virtue of the case studies that were used. It would seem that most advisors have been faced with one or more of these situations--I know that I certainly have been faced with the first scenario (getting out of the market during times of turbulence). Frank's thought process is organized and relevant and the role-playing of what to say to a client in these situations is invaluable. The examples (and attendant explanations) were excellent. Thank you for this course!
