Dr. Ma's research is impressive; however, he is mistaken about the reason why some investors don't buy vice stocks. It's not as simple as they don't like the company. It is typically tied to a personal value. If a client simply doesn't like a stock there's a chance that you can change their mind. However, if a client doesn't like a stock because it conflicts with their values, that's something else.

It gave an interesting perspective on the sin stocks that many people try to avoid. If they could see the returns they might change their mind.
