Google Docs Improves Commenting, Adds E-mail Notifications

Google Docs continues to improve, now by adding email notifications and threads for collaboration on documents.

By merely mentioning an email address in a comment about a document on Google Docs, the new feature will automatically send an email with the comment to that person.

 

While it's unclear what the implications might be to advisors who use the notifications system and how it might affect privacy, it could be a good boost to useability.
