Foxconn, China's electronics manufacturing company with 300,000 workers, strung nets under windows of its buildings earlier this year to prevent suicidal workers from jumping out of windows.

The company was profiled earlier this year in Bloomberg Businessweek and now new photos and videos have emerged documenting workplace conditions. 

 

While conditions for works are obviously inhumane, it has to make Americans worry to know just how desperate people are to work in China and other less-devleoped nations.

It reminds you that while we are so worried about the China overtaking America's economy, workers in China only put up with these horrendous working conditions because of the massive poverty still grippng the vast majority of Chinese.
