Tamarac Announces Initial Integration Partners For Its Cloud-Based RIA Platform

Tags: CRM | Portfolio Management Software | rebalancing

Tamarac Inc., a provider of integrated portfolio and customer relationship management software for financial advisors yesterday announced its first integration partners for its cloud-based RIA platform.

Laserfiche from Cities Digital, Worldox from Trumpet, and NetDocuments are being integrated for document management, while Laser App was selected for online form submissions, MoneyGuide Pro for financial planning, and ByAllAccounts for account aggregation, says a company press release.

Tamarac's Advisor Xi platform combines a version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM that's customized for financial advisors with Web-based portfolio reporting and a client portal, along with a portfolio rebalancing application. Tamarac also provides outsourced portfolio management services, including daily reconciliation and fee billing.

Tamarac's platoform is highly regarded and well suited for advisors creating portfolios with individual securities because of its sophisticated tax harvesting rules engine. It is an expensive app, however. The company was recently rocked by a revelation that its former chairman, financial advisor Mark Spangler, was being investigated by the FBI.

Thanks for this update Andy, these tech articles are just what RIAs need.

Could you also check in with Morningstar re them added Rebalancing and Trading functions to M* Office? And let us know when this is available, and the price? Maybe even have M* do a webinar through Advisor Products?
