Easy come, easy go. FINRA's publicly accessible database of disciplinary actions went live on Monday, but has currently been pulled back down for retooling.
It turns out that "a number of documents were found to have been corrupted during the imaging process," which is of course technical jargon for a scanning error.
Until the offending documents can be scanned and re-uploaded, FINRA's decided to take the database offline.
Depending on the exact number of documents we're talking about, that could take at least a few days. But when the database is back, don't forget to check your file for errors.
