As a financial advisor, should you care about Twitter? The answer is “yes.” You need to know about Twitter to network with other professionals, referral sources, and thought leaders as well as to find new clients, serve as a financial clearinghouse to clients, and stay current with online marketing.

Twitter is growing more than five times faster than the second-fastest growing social networking site, according to Nielsen.com. It’s revolutionary because it brings people with similar interests together and is incredibly easy to use.

In this session, Andrew Gluck, CEO of Advisor Products, will teach you the basics of "tweeting" and help you get started with this new communication medium. You’ll learn how to use Twitter to broadcast ideas to hundreds or thousands of prospects, how Twitter can help you become more visible to your clients, how to find “followers,” and ways to automate tweets.

Read Andrew Gluck's column about Twitter in Financial Advisor Magazine.

Would like to have heard more about Compliance issues than how to set up Twitter.

Would have been nice to hear some enthusiasm, a little pep in your speaking. It moved rather slowly, especially in the first half. I'm not sure what exactly I was hoping for but unfortunately don't feel that I learned much. Hopefully others did though, thank you for your work!

Way too basic. Has anyone had success in acquiring clients- translating the work and time into dollars?

Very relevant, informative and well organized. One of the best webinars I have been to lately. I have an account and just didn't know what to do with it. I now have some direction.
