Millions of LinkedIn Passwords Reportedly Hacked and Leaked Online; Change Your Password

A user in a Russian forum is claiming to have hacked LinkedIn to the tune of almost 6.5 million account details. The user uploaded 6,458,020 encrypted passwords, but no usernames. It's not clear if they managed to download the usernames, but tech site that broke the story says it is likely that user names as well as passwords have been breached.

Apple App Store Asking For Additional Security Details

If your iPhone or iPad pops up a message requiring you to configure some security settings, don’t think it's a scam. Apple confirmed Monday to Macworld that such prompts from the App Store are indeed legitimate.   "There’s no way to force your iOS device to prompt you to add the additional security details," says PC World. "But it’s especially likely to appear if you’re downloading apps to a new iPad or iPhone, or purchasing multiple apps at once."
