The e-mail went to several hundred season ticket holders, and contained names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses, along with the fans' seat numbers and Yankees account numbers.
There is a lesson to be learned: If you have a spreadsheet with all of your client names, emails, and phone numbers, be sure they are not available to all of your staff.
Delete such files if you're not using them and make sure they're not on your staff's computers. If you're going to keep lists of clients, keep them on a dedicated folder on your server with limited access.
