Most Advisors Believe Stock And Treasury Returns Will Rebound Over The Next Decade
Ten-year Treasury bonds will yield 1% in real returns, improving from today’s negative results based on nominal returns of 2% minus inflation of 3%.
Advisors also forecast that inflation will average just above 3% over the next decade, which is the historical average.
Those are the results of a new survey, Investment Trends in the Financial Advisory Profession: Key Implications for the Investment Management Industry, by Advisor Perspectives. The survey drew 1,090 responses.
The report, available from Advisor Perspectives, also shows whether advisors plan to increase or decrease exposure to various asset classes and investment vehicles in the short term.
