Life settlements can be a useful solution to specific financial problems, but they are illiquid, opaque, and complex instruments. Glenn Daily, a fee-only insurance advisor since the mid-1980s, leads this one-hour CE course for fiduciaries. Glenn will discuss when life settlements make sense and when they don’t. Thank you for the quick overview of life settlements and for trying to make it understandable for those of us who are very inexperienced when it comes to life insurance. For strict fiduciaries, it seems like a hornet's nest of issues, primarily as Glenn points out, the idea of conflicts of interest. I enjoyed the short summaries most of all, and was fairly well lost during the formulaic discussions as I have zero life insurance experience or knowledge. I appreciate your attempts to make it understandable.
