This was terrific. I follow several economists, including a demographer. I wonder if I conclude the President doesn't matter, or that he does.... Still this was first I've seen or heard that glimpsed a possible positive "multi-verse" for the US. Excellent presentation & very good job Andrew.

Excellent longer-term thinking than we usually see from investment professionals.

I use what I call "scenario-based" asset allocation in my practice that attempts to envision future possible economic scenarios and reverse engineer them to detemine an ideal allocation now to offer the best protection/opportunity given all the potential outcomes. Dennis' approach is exactly how I think day to day, so I'm glad hear his summary of the big trends as it really influences my models.
