Fritz's comments on investing in foreign vs US stocks is based on where companies generate their revenue. Companies are classified based on where their headquarters are located, not where they generate their revenue. Toyota is a Japanese headquartered company but sell cars, etc. worldwide and have alot of operations in the US. This is true of most foreign large-cap companies. Small cap companies generally generate their revenue locally, so Fritz comments only related to these companies, not large caps.
