It's an decent but not great product
It's easy to use once you get used to it and difficult to make the decision to switch to another system because the transition effort would be too much to justify for me at least. So, I hope Advent continues to improve its basci system - it's remained pretty static in the last few years which was ok given that the price hadn;t changed. But now that the price is rising, our expectations are too and Advent should overhaul its product.

The Good
Easy to reconcile balances daily, decent but not great reports
The Bad
very few enhancements over the last five years, increasing prices (no longer as reasonable as it was), very restricted reporting (only 8 asset classes can display in standard reports), no effective rebalancing tools which should be essential in portfolio management software, poor asset allocation capabilities
