I've been doing VBFP for 10+ years, and I've yet to bring in a client who had done it elsewhere. There's room to grow with this approach.
Just be careful not to ruin it by making it so accessible to advisers that they do it so poorly as to make the process meaningless. Witness the "wealth management" movement for what not to do. Best wishes, Mark! Noble endeavor.
