The process of converting historical client data from the Advent format was long and challenging, but once it was complete, things have worked very well. The importing, reconciliation, and reporting are much more efficient and effective for me than they were using Advent. While there are some bugs in the package, I have been impressed how responsive Morningstar has been when we have a problem. They have also taken our suggestions for improvements and worked to implement them in subsequent releases of the product. I don't know that we are currently willing to give up using our existing CRM, email handling, or planning software, but the reporting, billing, and research alone are worth the price. If the other modules advanced to be competitive, it would just be a bonus.
