The performance of primary asset classes and multi-asset portfolios over the past 93 years are reviewed at this session, with emphasis over the past 49 years and 20 years.

20 year performance review of 12 primary asset classes

Risk, return, correlations, and other statistical characteristics for measuring performance are examined, as well as the impact of expenses, rebalancing, and tactical versus strategic management. The accumulation and distribution phases of various multi-asset portfolios are shown over different holding periods.
