This is not news, but it was news to me. iGoogle is being discontinued on November 13, 2013.   iGoogle is a great service but Google in July said it the need for it has “eroded. ” My guess is this is just a strong arm tactic to get more Chrome users. Can’t blame Google. It’s in business to make money.  But I’ll miss iGoogle.
