Yahoo! Inc. said Marissa Mayer will become chief executive officer tomorrow, appointing a vice president from competitor Google Inc. to stem years of missteps and mistakes at the biggest U.S. Web portal.

Mayer take over tomorrow to become Yahoo's fifth CEO in four years, says Reuters.
