Microsoft Launches Bing Business Portal To Compete With Google Places; Advisors Should Use It

Tags: Search Engines

Google dominates search engine traffic, but Bing occupies a significant market share. So yesterday's rollout of Bing Business Portal should not be ignored by advisors who want to improve their search engine ranking.

This Website Is For Financial Professionals Only

Microsoft previously offered a business registration service and all of those business listings have reportedly been migrated to BBP.

Log in to the new Bing Business Portal to claim, create, verify, and manage you firm's business listing and identify key search categories where you want your listing to appear. This is a must if you want to improve your search engine ranking.

New figures released yesterday, incidentally, show that Bing now accounts for 30% of searches now, that's a gain of 5% from a year ago. Google, which dominates search, lost market share in ths same period.
