50% of SMBs have no disaster recovery plan in place, even though 65% of them operate in areas that are vulnerable to natural disasters.

Symantec recently released the results of its "2011 SMB Disaster Preparedness Survey" and they are not promising, says Read Write Web.

Our experience with prospects and clients would suggest that the percentage of Financial Advisory firms "without" a disaster recovery plan is even greater than this study. However as financial advisors migrate to cloud hosted applications the impact of a disaster is signigifantly reduced.
