The founders of MyFinancialAdvice.com, a site designed to enable financial planners to offer advice online to middle-income Americans, are launching a site designed to promote use of social media by advisors.

Launching on October 12, 2011, OnlineAdvisorCentral.com will include online video training, peer support, ongoing one-on-one assistance, and "monetization" tools to conduct advice sessions online.

Kevin Condon and Ron Peremel have for several years been working on MyFinancialAdvice.com to promote financial planning to individuals other than the high-net-worth. OAC attempts to build on that effort by incorporating the use of social media to engage potential clients.

Condon says many advisors are using social media but don't have a way to monetize the effort. MyFinanciaAdvice.com, he says, provides the online engine for charging a client for advice. He and Peremel want to attract consumers using the OAC platform.

"We have ability to span that bridge to the public," says Peremel.
