For technophiles, the good news is that all those YouTube videos and webinars are finding an audience with retail investors.
Investment videos have seen their viewership surge 350% over the last year while webcasts are up 300%, according to new numbers from research consulting firm Hearts & Wallets.
Blogs, websites, and other high-tech channels are also in vogue, the firm says.
However, a full 30% of these advisors now worry about their lack of experience. That's up from last year and reflects a simple truth: too much information, not enough guidance.
That's another bit of good news for advisors willing to reach out to all these information-saturated, well-educated prospects and show them how to put all that data to use.
