Fidelity affiliates can now create a marketing plan online -- and tighten their business plan while they're at it -- as part of a new push to provide market consulting services.
The new tool drives RIAs through the planning process as far as their own careers are concerned.
It's dialogue-based: What are the advisor's goals? How effectively is he or she building relationships and communicating the personal brand? Are there any tools that aren't being used?
As Fidelity notes, even defining your target market can free up 20% more of your time to generate revenue.
The tool is being rolled out to support the firm's latest round of advisor marketing workshops and other business development consulting.
