Excellent! One of the more important seminars you've done for those of us who understand the importance of asset alloction and are willing to think out of the box.

Note: I was disconnected twice during the seminar and the message said "the organizer has removed you from the session". Perhaps it was just a bad internet connection. In both cases I signed back in immediately, so I'm hoping that it didn't affect your automated system for providing credit to the CFP Board. I was there for the entire hour and 15 minutes.

Whenever I want to feel good about the stock market I listen to Jeremy Siegel or Abbey Joseph Cohen. Whenever I want to feel good about our economy, I listen to Fritz Meyers. If you approach the markets or the economy with a predetermined viewpoint, you can always find some research to support your viewpoint. I'd love to see a more objective analysis, perhaps by getting financial or economic commentary from other respected voices who have very different views that Fritz Meyer, perhaps John Mauldin.

How Do Financial Advisors Compete In A World In Which Megatrends Can Make Your Head Explode? (Event)

I use what I call "scenario-based" asset allocation in my practice that attempts to envision future possible economic scenarios and reverse engineer them to detemine an ideal allocation now to offer the best protection/opportunity given all the potential outcomes. Dennis' approach is exactly how I think day to day, so I'm glad hear his summary of the big trends as it really influences my models.

Always glad to hear Fritz's perspective, but can't help but get the impression that his optimistic personality colors his analysis. I think of him as the Jeremy Siegel or Abbey Joseph Cohen of economics. They have always loved stocks through bull markets and bear, to the point that nobody takes them seriously. I have the same gut reaction when I hear the positive spin that Fritz puts on every economic statistic.

I always enjoy listening to Fritz, although I do find his analysis and his commentary rather politically slanted.
